Recycled Tube Light

Have you ever wonder what to do with all those old burned out florescent tubes in your work office? Some larger offices must go through many of them every month. Castor Canadensis has a great solution for recycling those florescent tubes --> make them into prettier lamps!

"Burnt-out florescent bulbs lit with incandescent light bulbs. Lengths of 15inchs, 2ft, 3ft, 4ft and 8ft are available. Depending on the model they are capable of hanging horizontally, vertically or free standing. The used florescents are from architecturally significant buildings."

What is this beautiful thing? It is a modular LED lighting fixture designed by Daniel Becker, who is an industrial designer from Frankfurt Germany. This modular lighting system is designed to be arranged in a 3 dimensional space, which is very unusual! This does not have to fit flat on the wall. It can turn a corner, come off of the wall and rotate freely in 360 degrees. What an amazing idea!

This LED lighting fixture is almost scuplture like, is composed from a few simple parts. Each part has a joinet that can be rotated in 360 degrees in any direction. The parts can be easliy attached with screw-type joinets even if you don't have any technical expertise, you can also simply make your own lighting art!

accelerating the air from higher to lower pressure. Winds can shape landforms by
erosion or move single elements great distances from their source area, enabling
survival and dispersal, as well as contingency, disorder and deformation. The
single leaves in this light sculpture can forever be formed and repositioned,
bent and rearranged, establishing different patterns and changing perspectives:
a shift in an air breeze.
