Past Meets Future in a Very Now House

The "Greenest Home in Chicago" will reopen on Earth Day--April 22, 2011--with new gadgets and inventive ways to live green! The Smart Home, a fully functioning, eco-friendly home on the Museum’s grounds, is a must-see exhibit for anyone who wants their home, and life, to be smarter, more efficient and more in tune with the environment than it is today.

We are very honored to be invited as part of the "Greenest Home in Chicago" exhibit host by Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago.



Our very own d°light Bubbles has already been placed in the home and I hear it looks great! For those of you who are in Chicago, or will be visiting Chicago from April 22, 2011 - Jan 8, 2012, don't forget to stop by the "Greenest Home in Chicago." Orders before Christmas?

Are you doing some last minute Christmas shopping?

In order to guarantee shipment by Christmas, here are some dates to keep in mind. Your d°lights will be will be guaranteed to arrive by 12/24 when order before the following dates:

1. Ship with Fedex Ground (Home) order needs to be received before end of day on 12/19
2. Ship with Fedex 2nd day order needs to be received before end of day on 12/21

As for the international orders, the last order day is Sunday 12/19 if (and only if) you choose Express Mail® International. However, please keep in mind that we cannot guarantee international shipments by Christmas.

Here we would like to answer some concerns:

• To Valitsa: there is a way to change the LED, however, it’s not so easy as changing the light bulb. It involves soldiering… probably best to send it back to the manufacturer and have them fix it. The good news is, the manufacturer ensured us that if used properly, the LEDs should last for about 100,000 hours.
• To Steven: You are thinking what we are thinking!! Exchangeable silicone bubbles of different sizes and shapes are the next step for d°light bubbles!!!

HOW will YOU d°light?

Diana Lin Design wants to give people not only physical experiences with products, but also emotional experiences. We produce innovative products that bring happiness and joy to people. Instead of creating products that just sits somewhere and just look good; we want to create products that encourage interaction. We want to inspire people to touch, feel and play with everyday objects. The soft and squeezable nature of silicone provides just what we need! When you squeeze the silicone bubbles, you can feel the pressure of the air inside and also hear the sound of the air coming out. It provides the experiences for not only sight, but also touch and auditory. The d°light bubbles let people put their creative minds to work! You can hang them on a hook, lay them down on the floor, bunch them up on your bed…etc. The possibilities are endless! Each relationship between the user and d°light is unique.


So HOW will you d°light?
The d°light bubbles could also be used as a stress release object. Instead of a little stress squeeze ball, you will have 12 silicone bubbles to squeeze and release all your daily stresses!

-the silicone bubble LED is soft, cool to touch and squeezable.
