"The unique pillow derives its comfy properties not from feathers or foam but from light. Yes, light -- from a dozen LED lights embedded in silicone bubbles inside a furry fabric.

It's the invention of Diana Lin, 29, an industrial designer, who readily admits, "It's not really something to sleep on ... And this is not a cushion that you just put on your sofa. It's so much more."

She originally created the pillow for a lighting design contest in Japan known as the Koizumi International Lighting Design Competition, sponsored by Koizumi, a lighting technology company... "
